Falcon Lake Bakery Bistro is proudly owned and operated by the Walker family. In 2007, Evelyn and her boys, Edward, Avi, David, Michael, and Daniel, purchased the bakery establishment, and remodelled it into a charming bakery, bistro, and bar, complete with an outdoor patio and pergoda.
Their mission was to provide guests with homemade quality fare in an atmosphere harmonious with their earthy surroundings; they aimed to be more than a food service establishment, but an authentic Falcon Lake experience.
Falcon Lake Bakery Bistro is always run with high energy, and remains an attraction amongst locals and visitors alike; they are reputable for their innovative comfort cuisine, friendly service, modern yet rustic atmosphere, environmentally sensitive operations, daily-fresh baked goods, and above all, commitment to quality.
Following three successful summers of operation, Falcon Lake Bakery Bistro was recognized by Air Canada’s enRoute magazine in their 2010 dining guide, and again in 2011; In 2012, they were recommended by Manitoba’s Ciao magazine.
Committed to their founding mission, Falcon Lake Bakery Bistro remains a staple in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, and the Walkers are honoured to serve the Falcon Lake community and its valued guests.
